IUP Kittanning Announcement

IUP Kittanning AnnouncementOctober 31, 2007 – State Senator Don White recently presented a grant in the amount of $1.5 million to the Armstrong County Board of Commissioners for the development of the former Indiana University of Pennsylvania Kittanning Campus property, located along North McKean Street. In addition, a portion of the grant will also be applied to other revitalization projects in Kittanning Borough. IUP President Dr. Tony Atwater joined other dignitaries at the ceremony and announced that the University will donate the Kittanning Campus property to Kittanning Borough Council.

Northpointe Announcements

Northpointe AnnouncementsOctober 25, 2007 - State Senator Don White presented a grant in the amount of $2 million to the Armstrong County Commissioners to support the construction of a new multi-tenant facility at Northpointe. Also announced at the special ceremony was the signed sales agreement between the IDC and Dynamic Manufacturing. Dynamic, which manufactures printed circuit assemblies, cable assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies, will construct a 14,000 sq. ft. facility at Northpointe.
